James R. Tierney, Jr. CIC
Executive Producer

Jim has been an independent business person and insurance agent in the Five County Area for the past 35 years.  Currently he serves as the Executive Producer for Francis Hall Insurance & Risk Management Services with various specialties.

Jim is a Certified Insurance Counselor receiving his designation in 1998.  Jim has taught classes at the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades in Media advising graduating seniors on insurance coverage’s for the new business owner.

Jim attended St. Joseph’s University and Widener University where he majored in accounting.  He proudly served in the United State Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in the 2nd Marine Division. He is involved in the community, particularly Lions International where he served as President of the Lions Club of Upper Darby, and received a humanitarian award from the Chapel of the Four Chaplains for his work with Lions International.  Also, Jim is a member of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.

Jim’s business philosophy has provided him great success.  He becomes the “advocate” of his clients applying the simple approach of treating his clients as he, himself would like to be treated, with “Honesty and Respect”.  He believes that insurance policies are important to those unknown, future losses that can cripple and business or organization. However, he works with his clients to identify and analyzes the potential for loss his clients are exposed to with the goal to determine ways to reduce or eliminate future losses, with tailoring proper insurance to cover them, if they do occur.  He believes that “Preventative Risk Management Measures” are better for the financial health of his clients then being at the mercy of the unexpected.

His business philosophy is to identify and analyze potential loss exposures for his clients and develop a proactive approach to reduce frequency and severity of possible future claims. His opinion is that "No Claim is Acceptable." Insurance is a tool to soften the financial impact of a loss, but finding ways to reduce or even eliminate a future loss is far more profitable. There are always alternatives. He believes that his clients CAN INFLUENCE THEIR INSURANCE PREMIUM COSTS, TO REDUCE THEM, NOT JUST PAY THEM. IT'S A BETTER CHOICE. YOU SHOULD BE IN CONTROL.
